Erica has been active since she can remember and loves encouraging others to do the same. A runner herself, she was an athletic training intern for the cross country & track teams while studying physiology at the University of Minnesota.
Recovering from a running injury, Erica found Balanced Barre in January of 2012 and quickly fell in love with the method. It combined orthopedic strengthening exercises, mind-body awareness, and overall health, as well as being an intense workout! Seeing how Tina encouraged the classes to push themselves (“Let it shake!”), the attention to technique and proper form, and the lifestyle benefits of barre led Erica to get certified May 2013. The best part of being an instructor of BarreAmped is seeing everyone, no matter their ability, develop new strength and confidence in themselves.
Outside of classes, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband Ben, and daughter Ari, as well as running, playing basketball and tennis, and being with friends.
