Why Balanced Barre?
In the fitness world, not all barre classes are created equal. Did you know that there is no regulation on barre, meaning, anyone can teach a barre class whether they are qualified to or not. So, how do you spot the real barre from the fake? Do your research! A studio should teach a reputable barre program. This will ensure that the studio itself has gone through a thorough training and that they also have a deep knowledge and understanding of what they are teaching you. They have been trained on cuing, form, alignment, & sequences...all to make sure you stay safe in class.
At Balanced Barre, form and alignment are key in all of our classes & our method. If you are not in proper form, you are not doing the exercise correctly, which makes it easy. So, when people say our classes are hard, they are correct! We make sure you are working the proper muscles in the correct way (form first) and we want to make sure you are getting the best workout possible. All of our instructors are certified in barre by BarreAmped. They have gone through extensive training with Tina Dunlap, a former Master Trainer for the BarreAmped Method and completed hours of practice teacing & co-teaching. What does that mean for you? Your classes will be safe, effective & you will see the results

This is an extreme fitness method founded on the technique of dance, the mind body aspect of yoga, and the precision and core integration of Pilates. Barre produces lengthening and chiseling results fast using small isolated holds with tiny movements and tremendous mental connection. Expect an extreme challenge and prepare to leave feeling calmly energized with this hands on personal group training session. Our Barre class is a great place to start class if you are a new to Balanced Barre!
Follows the same format as our Barre class, however Barre Advanced will challenge you with longer holds, deeper positions, quicker transitions & advanced moves. Barre Advanced is not suitable for beginners.
Barre + BOUNCE
Barre + BOUNCE uses the classic Barre moves combined with cardio intervals which are done on a JumpSport Trampoline. This program relies on high intensity interval training, which has been proven to burn fat faster than sustained endurance training, making it suitable for ALL fitness levels. Barre + BOUNCE will shake up your workout! This class is the most fun & effective way to burn fat, lose weight and change your body.

Power + Stretch + Restore
Power + Stretch + Restore is a dynamic flow that seamlessly combines power & strength with stretch and restoration! We will work & stretch from head to toe in this stress relieving, fat burning, mind-body barre class!
